Mainly engaged in the research of computing materials and teaching methods. Successively published 57 SCI papers in internationally renowned journals, including 38 SCI papers as the first author, with 520 citations of the papers, and up to 106 citations for a single article.Undertook more than 10 various horizontal and vertical scientific research projects, including 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 Natural Science Foundation project of Gansu Province, 1 scientific research project of Gansu Province colleges and universities, and was awarded the research type of Lanzhou Jiaotong University in 2019. Funded by the "Hundred Young Talents Support Program".

In 2014, won the first prize for scientific and technological progress of colleges and universities in Gansu province; in 2016, won the third prize for outstanding scientific research achievements of colleges and universities in Gansu province; in 2017, won the second prize for outstanding scientific research achievements of colleges and universities in Gansu province; in 2017 and 2019 Awarded Advanced Individual in Scientific Research of Lanzhou Jiaotong University.In 2018 and 2019, he guided college students to participate in the National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College students and won one special prize, one first prize and one second prize in Gansu Province. In 2019 and 2020, he guided two undergraduate graduation projects and won the school-level excellent graduation thesis.
